How Much Will It Cost?
We get that question a lot...
One of the biggest unknowns when beginning project is the cost. Carpenter Roar will help eliminate the uncertainty when planning your project. Backed by more than 20 years of experience we can accurately assess your goals and needs. We then make a plan to meet your expectations and, more importantly, your budget. Here’s how it works.
First we begin with a no cost consultation – an informal meeting to hear what you have in mind. During this time we’ll discuss your plans and offer suggestions. Whenever possible we'll present options that can make the job more affordable.
If necessary, we'll consult with other trades such as:
- Roofers
- Electricians
- Plumbers
We will then present you with a proposal outlining the work to be performed and the total price. If you agree with the proposal we'll work together to develop a schedule based on your requirements, our availability, and possibly weather forecasts. We'll both sign a contract prior to beginning the work; an initial payment may also be required at this time. When the work is completed to your satisfaction we'll submit the final invoice.
But wait, what happens if I want to add a little something?
Not a big deal. We will review any changes with you and modify the contract to reflect any changes to the overall cost and schedule.
OK, but what about the unexpected?
Occasionally we may encounter situations where costs may exceed the original proposal. This may happen on larger projects due to unforeseen problems such as termite damage, faulty wiring/plumbing, or structural issues. In these cases we will bring everything to your attention immediately. Any additional charges will need to be agreed upon in advance. We will also offer options to offset any additional costs.
That's it!
We'd love to discuss how we can help your project. Give us a shout to get started.
“Initially I hired Roar and his team to give my deli a face-lift and make it more functional. They great work at affordable prices so I opted to have them complete other projects that I had been putting off. When its good work, affordable prices, and really great guys you take advantage.” Bruce from NYC
